Road Trip Destination?

My friends and I are seniors this year and want to take a road trip for spring break. We live in Minnesota, and we do want a drive. We werent thinking of going to Florida or CA or anywhere too far, but the midwest region would be good. The only things they thought of were skiing in Colorado or going to CHicago to go to six flags (which will be closed). Any better ones? It would be great if there was some sort of attraction there. And we are high-schoolers, so nothing ridiculously $$$$.
