Visiting London and surrounding areas?
We are visiting London and surrounding areas in September 2008 for about 5 days and would like to get some advice:
We compiled a list of things and places that we would like to see and visit. As we are on a budget, I would like you to rate them as a ‘must see..’ to ‘get a postcard..’ Please do not rate them according to prices and affordability - rather as interesting or ‘if you saw one, you saw all..’ e.g. churches . They are:
Tower of London
Westminster Abbey
St Paul’s Catherdral
Tower Bridge
Shakespear’s Globe
Show at Shakespear’s Theatre
Richmond Park
Windsor Castle
Hampton Court
London Eye
Buckingham Palace
Kings Cross Station - is this worth the effort?

Which U.S. states would you rather live in? Which would you NEVER, EVER live in?
I’d RATHER live in:
-Texas: I don’t need to explain myself again. You’d just have to visit. It’s like a whole ‘nother country! I’m moving there soon!
-Oklahoma: a lot like Texas (although there is a huge cross-state rivalry b/t TX and OK.)
-Washington st.: only because of Seattle, its culture, attractions and the natural beauty that surrounds it.
-Georgia: ATL rocks! Period.
-Mississippi: a nice, clean, beautiful state that so many people sadly trash talk or overlook.
-North Carolina: can you say “Mountains?”
-Colorado, Wyoming: Yes, “mountains!”
-New York/New Jersey: the whole NYC Metro vibe thing.
I’d NEVER, EVER live in:
-Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Hampshire: COOOOOOLD WINTERS!
-Iowa, Kansas: what’s there…I mean, really?
-Alabama: rude, cold people that rudely interrupt you when you’re talking, never exercise manners, and look at you funny when you talk. Grrrrrrr!
-Florida: like AL but with less of a southern accent
One more I’d RATHER NOT live in: Kentucky. I’m here now, it ain’t great at all. That’s where I’m moving to TX from and hoping to NEVER return here!

Does anyone know about a large vacation home for a weekend rent in Minnesota?
My friends and I get together every year in St. Cloud, but we wanted to stay in a cabin or vacation home this year. Any help would be appreciated.
